We therefore have chosen the path of giving back to the society, while achieving our corporate goals through our registered trusts known as Lukkhyram Education & Welfare Society & Lukkhyram Manav Seva. We have identified different areas and undertaken diverse activities under the umbrella of our corporate Social Responsibilities.

Healthcare of old and Poor People.

We have laid the foundation of an old age home just adjacent to our factory at Wada. The Old age home will house fifty inmates. It will provide for food, medical needs, housing, clothing and entertainment needs. We are also exploring how we can make the assets in the elder generation employable according to their capacity & wish. The idea is to regain their self respect and glory.

Recently a medical camp was organized in the vicinity of the old age home with the help of other like minded people. Hundreds of nearly villagers benefitted from the medical camp. Several Villagers would be going for a free of cost cataract operation.

Education for the needy

We have undertaken a program that will benefit the educational need of the factory labour and the nearby villagers. This provides that any factory worker who completes a certain period of time with us will benefit under the program. The school fees, subject to a maximum of two kids will be borne by the company. This program will help to spread education in the villages. It will also spread the message of the benefits of a small family.

Environment

Environment protection is the cornerstone of all our policies. We are committed to have green, pollution free units. We hold regular education camps in the nearby village on the importance of environment conservation ecological balance.

We undertake water audits regularly at our units to arrest water leakage, fix it & also to check for any source of water pollution. We lay emphasis on Intergenerational Equity & we built in the conscience of every employee of ours that we need to preserve the natural resources for our next generations as well.

We have undertaken rainwater harvesting and solar energy generation at our units. We are conscious of our carbon foot print & are committed to reduce our carbon foot print.

Encouragement to Sports & Games.

We organize and sponsor several sports event in and around our units. We believe that Sports are not only a clean source of entertainment but help in

Keeping good health & in building strong teams.

Partnerships with NGO’s & other corporate. The location of our units in Aadivasi & rural areas present us with a great opportunity to undertake different projects that may benefit the locals. We are open to enter into partnerships with any NGO or any other corporate to undertake any social project for the benefit of the Society.
